CLOT and Nike presented their collaboratively designed “Royal Silk” Air Force 1 in October 2019. The sneaker revises the 1982 hardwood classic with a patterned silk upper that can be burned or worn away, uncovering an alternative design below. The AF1’s sole construction features “AIR” branded foam, concealing Air-Sole cushioning for responsiveness. Gum-rubber tread at the bottom takes on a traditional pivot point pattern.

The CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Game Royal aka “Royal University Blue Silk,” is one of two colorways from the upcoming collaboration between the fashion retailer/imprint and the Swoosh this fall. The sneaker ‘s design is defined a tonal blue silk upper that bears an all-over pattern that is reflective of CLOT and its Chinese roots. Finally, a contrasting white midsole and gum rubber outsole tops off the design.

They are perfect with or without socks. There is enough room for heavier sports socks or thinner sports socks. I wear them for health walks and everywhere else. They are the most comfortable and sturdy shoes I have ever worn. This is about my fourth or fifth pair. You can wash them in cold water with regular dish soap and paper towels. It’s fun for the little ones to see how they float! They wear out on the bottom with the constant use I use, but it will take me a few years to do that. After wearing them for a while, they mold to the shape of your foot.

The sole is made of crater foam to add a little springiness to your steps. I walked around the amusement park all day wearing these and felt so comfortable – and got so many compliments! The shoes are a bit roomy, but not too much. Personally, I prefer a looser fit, but if that’s not your thing then maybe downsizing. Based on my flex tests on the shoe, when the toe box is flexed, the upper doesn’t seem to crease at all, and the smooth, buttery, pebble leather snaps back to its original shape almost instantly.

I bought a pair of CLOT x Air Force 1 PRM ‘Royal Silk’. These shoes are very comfortable and look durable. The shoe pairs well with many styles of slacks, such as slacks or cargo slacks. I love that I can also pair these shoes with black pants for a night out, or to the gym with a jogger. People of all ages can take off these shoes. Don’t be afraid to break away from your typical shoe style – try something new! You never know what you’ll like unless you try it.

Ich habe diese Schuhe vor etwa einer Woche gekauft. Keine Sekunde bereut. Sie sind super bequem und super hübsch. Besonders wenn Sie schlanker sind, sehen diese eher raffinierten Air Forces im Vergleich zu beispielsweise dem “Air Force 1 Pixel” großartig aus.
Ich würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen mindestens eine halbe Nummer größer zu bestellen. Ich trage normalerweise Größe 38. Hier trage ich eine 38,5, die ist auch ziemlich eng, aber bei einer 39 könnten meine schmalen Absätze hinten rausrutschen. Alles in allem eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
