Taking its roots in CLOT founder Edison Chen ‘s 2009 rendition of the AF1 “1WORLD,” this new colorway gives us a fresh update to a much-loved silhouette as part of the “100 ” initiative that celebrates the classic “White ” Air Force 1 colorway. The CLOT x Air Force 1 Premium features a white silk upper to hint at the traditional Chinese fabrics representing luck and prosperity, as well as tearaway fabric, which reveals an intricate gold-accented design and a clear translucent AF1 rubber outsole.
First teased back in December ” followed by additional on-feet images earlier this month, it appears as though CLOT and Nike are indeed linking up on another premium version of the iconic Air Force 1. The duo draws inspiration from Edison Chen ‘s previous AF1 “1WORLD” rendition, once again smothering the upper with Chinese cultural details ” alluding to customs of luck and prosperity.

I have long and narrow feet and any shoe will fit. However, these are suitable. The toe box is roomy but secure, and overall, I’ve been very pleased with them in the brief time I’ve worn the Nike Air Force 1. I definitely consider myself including these in my regular workday rotation and look forward to seeing how they hold up over time.

I like this style because the sole is thicker and not as cold as most of my other sneakers. Even if it’s cold outside, your feet will maintain a comfortable temperature. As someone who is always cold, this is a huge win!

I was expecting something high quality from a pair of seemingly ordinary white AF1s. Needless to say, the pair didn’t disappoint, and this pair is probably one of the best quality AF1s I’ve had. The silk side is very soft, tumbled, “wrinkled” and creases much better than the $180 kind of “wrinkle”. I’m also impressed with the upgraded insole, which gives me a plush feel, as well as a softer, smoother padding used in the heel area.

I was very surprised and delighted by the comfort of these shoes. Usually, these are not the kind of shoes I tend to buy. My feet are bigger than average, so I tend to wear shoes that don’t make my feet look bigger. At first glance, the Nike Air Force Crater 1 shoes look bulky, but aesthetically, I like the design. They’re not “loud” shoes that I like, but they still have a very unique and unique look, and their classic Nike swoosh will make you stand out.

I love the look – they look great with jeans, leggings or joggers and the blue accents on the front and deconstructed look make them really stand out. I got a few compliments during my outings, and even my husband said “These are really cool!” If I was still dressing up for work these days, I’d wear these with jeans and a blazer for my city commute.

The white color and pattern give it a unique feel without being too ostentatious, which is one of my favorite features. They are one of the lightest sneakers I’ve ever worn. The sole is a mix of foam and rubber, so you get the lightweight properties of a foam-soled sneaker, as well as a solid shoe that supports the elements well. I can wear these all day and stand for hours at a time. I almost feel like I’m bouncing when I walk in them, they’re so light.

The thick rubber outsole and generous padding on the upper make these a comfortable ride, if a bit heavy. Although I have not worn these long enough to effectively gage their durability, they seems quite well put together, with quality stitching and materials.

They are super comfortable. I mean really really comfortable – as much as my running shoes. I have been walking my dogs a few miles a day in these and could easily keep going for sure or be on my feet for most of the day in these, they are that comfortable. The opening of the shoe is soft and comfortable and does not dig in or require a “breaking in” period. These are good to go out of the gate.
